Was alright like . I deffinatley prefer my own car great Trip,Hotel,Track,Food company for the most. this is the first year i have come home and not wished i was still there hopefully people will be a little older and wiser next year and we will all have a great time .

Anyway back to the trip, lots of highs & lows (will still be nice to read about them when people get a chance to put fingers to keyboards).

My highs were the help from Guy as Co driver/Navigator helping me around the circuit giving me more time to concentrate on driving than thinking what was around the next corner and the car even standard was 100% better with the bits i had done just before the trip, hanging out with some great people, the organising by Guy (well done mate) and anyone else during the trip, my passenger rides in some nice cars (Roma one standing out), oh yeah and getting Sue into the Ring Taxi with 10mins notice.

Lows were (1st night...censored but later sorted ), The driver dying in Mike's race from a heart attack at "Ave It" Leap, seeing the cars that got damaged by Ring enthusiasts while we were there, and my last lap as a passenger around the Ring (a great 1/2 lap ).

Great write up Mike! lets give it a go...

Day 1 started off in true fashion with me having to wake Geezer up at 1.30am from there we had we had a pretty uneventful drive all the way to our hotel in Adenau. Night 1 was a great introduction to everyone, some more than others. Lol

Day 2 involved a great visit to the newly built Museum, plenty of different cars on show and i enjoyed the little 4d cinema, the Bus ride nearly made me puke mind! after that it was a bit of grub and up to the track car park to buy some laps and check out the awesome display of vehicles The weather was Very cold and wet but I was determind to get a lap under my belt all the same.......Ooooops big mistake! now i've been on a wet track before but THAT was litterally like ice and I managed a nice bit of snaking followed by 4 beautiful piroette's before shunting backwards into the armco out of a corner. 1300+ Euro's later and that was enough for one day! Lol. Although it wasn't over as we had a Steak on a stone later that night and my god they are nice!!! Mm mmm.

Days 3 and 4 were spent mostly on or around the track, we met up with Steve's mate Bennet who was a cracking guy to talk to along with Robin and seemed to be enjoying taking a few of the boys for a lap in the 350z. Maybe i'll get a turn next time

Day 5 was the long trip home again we made excellent ground on the road and got to the tunnel in no time! by half 4pm I was sitting down to a nice cuppa back at home!

All in All I had an absolute wicked time! couldnt have wished for a nicer bunch of people to go with although it will be the last time I share a room with Smokey!! Lol you snore like a typhoon!
