Good afternoon mk2 owners , some of you may not be aware that there is a dedicated mk2 owners club recently established www.vwgolfmk2.co.uk

it is a new club but has already over 500 members since its launch in December 2007

they have regular meets all over the country but not one yet in south wales , this is where I come in , it is my intention to organize a mk2 golf owners meet in porthcawl on Sunday 14th September at 4pm ( exact location to be finalised)

I know the date seems far away but it gives us enough time to get a good response and hopefully as many mk2 golf owners as we can attending this meet , hopefully it will become a success and will carry on month after month.

If anybody is interested in coming along please pm me for more info and lets all come together for the first mk2 golf owners meet in south wales !

I registered on there ages ago but it was quite a young site then. Have since forgot my password but will make the effort to get back on there.

Why Porthcawl tho Gar, IMO its too far off the M/Way keep it towards cardiff I reckon, unless your trying to attract the swansea massive
