Following on from the 'New job and new car' thread, Ade, Clarkee and myself went up to Soilhull on Tuesday to pick up my new daily - viewtopic.php?f=10&t=6685

Short spec as follows;
2003 Audi A3 TDI 130 PD
6 speed
Climate control
Audi concert (Think its called?) audio system (standard audi sub etc)
Full alcantara interior
With the usuals
etc etc

The car was a straight clean car to start with, but I wanted to give it a bit more attention.
Ade (big thanks!!) and me got to work this morning/afternoon.
I tackled the paint whilst Ade did a great job on the engine, trim, door shuts etc

Some pics;

Cheers guys

We'll have to see about alloys. This ones meant to be the daily :lol:

If I don't get tempted before hand, I may consider something when the tyres need changing - we'll see though

looks good ,nice to see a different colour from silver :lol:

wasn't happy with my wheels as well car rolled about too much and looked too small , the 17's changed the ride a lot not so smooth but more to my liking handles ok for standard se springs now , try mine first if you like

my 17's may be up for sale soon :D cheap as well as they need some paint where they were marked when the new tires were fitted

before and after wheels pics see the difference

Not to worried about the roll etc for now as its only the daily and the tyres all have healthy tred so I'll let them run low before making any decisions

I may go for something along the lines of the RS4 alloys - will see whats about at the time though

The Audi visited JBS at Combe Saturday for a remap and filter with a claim of 170bhp and 270 lb/ft torque.

Really impressed with the map, seems very smooth too :)

Downside being Brentacre trying to sting me £120 for the map for the 6 months remaining months :roll: :roll:
